I bought one brand-new last year and it worked 3 times, then it wouldn’t start. I returned it, waited weeks, then got it back. Worked 2 more times, then the season ended. This year, it worked 2 times, then again problems. The store replaced it with a DIFFERENT Poulan. That one ran 3 times, then troubles again. I pulled and pulled and pulled…nothing. i used fresh gas, drained the old, changed the sparkplug…NOTHING. I finally dedicated one afternoon to making it work, and after I primed and pulled about 60 times, it BARELY started. But then it warmed up or woke up and ran properly. I will NEVER buy another Poulan again. I had an old old Murray that ran like a top. Every year for 13 years I left it out in the rain and snow…ALWAYS started on the 2nd or 3rd pull. ALWAYS. I never changed the plug. I never changed the oil. No replacement parts ever. I wish I could get it back, I’d replace the leaking gas tank for sure and trash this Poulan Pro.
